in 2014 I oversaw the creation and implementation of the rebrand for Nickelodeon UK's animation channel, NICKTOONS. The successful launch of the new package saw it go on to become the international rebrand for Nickelodeon's animation channels across the globe (excluding the U.S which has a slightly different positioning to other regions). The brief was to make more of a destination for NICKTOONS. Kids were aware of Nickelodeon, but not so much of NICKTOONS. We needed the TOONS to be able to stand out from the NICK in the logo and make it centre of attention. This an make the characters synonymous with the brand. I worked with the talented folk at Beautiful in London to bring this idea to life and solve all the challenges the brand was facing.
